The European Commission has launched a consultation on State aid subsidies for wind, biofuels, biomass and solar.

If you oppose subsidies to windfarms then send an email to

Deadline to send your email:February 14, 2014 at midnight.

In your email please state - Reference: HT 359 - Consultation on Community Guidelines on State Aid for Environmental Protection

Tell them that you oppose any State assistance to wind power  because it will result in raising the price of electricity, increasing taxes, or sinking EU countries further into debt.

Use your own words so that it does not look like a "copy-and-paste" job. And if you have time, say what you think of wind turbines. The length of your email isn't important. What's important is to send one saying NO to State aid.

It is important that the European Commission should receive a large number of emails opposing subsidies to wind. 

If you do not want your name to be published by the European Commission, clearly indicate "confidential".
