Two separate turbine applications have been applied for in Trelech, both near to the Plasparcau Farm wind turbine which was granted last summer.

The original application for a Wind Turbine at Maescadog, Caio, Carmarthenshire, was refused by the Carmarthenshire County Council Planning Committee and the applicant subsequently lodged an appeal. The Inspector carried out a site visit in December 2014 and on 2 February 2015 refused the appeal on access grounds.

Scottish Power Renewables have decided not to progress with Dyfant Forest Windfarm in north Powys.
